The real tragedy is how they claim they are Christians when not only are they not, but they use it as a con to deceive the dumber sheep.. Buttplug, Pelosi and Obama (nice Christian name there) about as Christian as the devil, only he is smart enough to know God does exist. The other 3 use religion to sucker in the stupid.
But I bet you could flawlessly recount the "Batman" origin story, right?

Stop destroying the Bible - Jesus was not born poor or a refugee...next thing you’ll be saying He was born of the Virgin Barry.
Christ certainly did not come to earth as a refugee fleeing Heaven, thus not being born a refugee, while Joseph was a self-employed carpenter, a legal tax-paying citizen of Rome and there is no reason to think that he was particularly poor, nor did he flee to Egypt for economic reasons. Instead, Joseph fled to Egypt, which had been folded into the Roman Empire, to escape Herod who would have murdered Christ, like as abortionists do to innocents under their local jurisdiction. Thus if anything, Josephs flight to Egypt would be more akin to fleeing mandated abortion in California for Texas rather than fleeing South America to the U.S. for government assistance, which is what Buttigieg promotes
to borrow a lead-in from your link: “Jesus was not forced to go to Egypt because of Herod. Jesus was called to Egypt by God. “
There was a not-often mentioned but very major reason for The Almighty to send Jesus and his family into Egypt. Egypt was the seat of a huge Jewish community. Jeremiah 44:1 (start at Jeremiah 40 for the back story).
traveling to Roman Egypt ( especially to Memphis, a centuries-old seat of Jewish faith) seemed a pretty logical thing to do for a family aware of their own blessing. Relatives in Bethlehem and Nazareth likely had relations in Egypt. Some say Jesus was only in Egypt a few months; some say a few years. The Coptics have said the family visited 25 religious sites in Egypt before returning to Nazareth, which would be a whole lot of traveling in just a few months unless there was more purpose to it. Being outside of Herod’s reach, it’s not like the family had to ‘hide’ while in Egypt. The Romans didn’t care about Herod’s paranoia. So maybe Joseph deserves some credit here - using the opportunity to immerse his family in the faith of his forefathers.
