On the twitter feed (news/rumors?) there was mention of two of the police were killed. They were commanders, and were shot by their own guys when they ordered their guys to fire on the protestors.
That is hopeful if true.
Makes a good case to get into Ham Radio.
I look into it from time to time, but seems too complicated. I suppose if I just bought a cheap unit and joined a club I would learn enough to at least get information in an emergency.
