What is the source of the alleged compulsion to be a homosexual? Or are you just an apologist who falls back on vague determinism to bolster an assertion compleyely lacking in facts?
There is a guy from Colorado named Tim Gill who was the developer of the QuarkXPress publishing app -- one of the early and best page layout programs to hit the mass market in the 1990s. He was an early Silicon millionaire, and has sunk gobs of his money into turning Colorado's institutions gay.
It's always a choice for every person past puberty whether to act on their sexuality, and when, how and with whom. There are plenty of heterosexual Christians who are celebate, due to a number of circumstances, to honor their faith. You don't see them demanding that schools and workplaces give them special accommodations, or frightening schoolchildren with harrowing tales of their occasions of loneliness, sexual longing, and/or the discrimination and social rejection they routinely experience from married people.
You must not know many gay people. Many who wave the rainbow flag also maintain hetero relationships for appearances' sake, to please Mom 'n' Dad, to deny their obsession, etc. Many, many gays and lesbians have biological children.
Again, you must not know many gay people, your protestations to the contrary. Many gay- and lesbian-identifying persons have served the military, police and rescue teams with great physical strength and intelligence. I worked in the arts for 40 years, and truly met many whom you would never know were gay unless they told you. I've also met a number happily hetero married people you just know were teased by their classmates and told they were gay because of an artistic personality, but they're not.
That said, I hope those who believe they "are" gay can untangle the knots their psyches were tied in while they were young and learn to live in Christ, free of their obsession.
