Please remove yourself from this website. No one cares about your shitty blog.
“It’s a Joke, “
The Punchline
needs work.
We talk about that...often.
I'm convinced there is no HG...it's a bot.
its a money decision....
and you bet your bippy they bring their leftist diatribes with them.....how do you think they got so rich?....most of them, off of govt (taxpayers)
I listen to Los Angeles radio on internet, KFI am, because we used to live in Calif, 5 times, during the years of 1988-2013. I only saw ONE homeless person, a crazy woman, in Pasadena. I never saw one in San Marino, Claremont, Rancho Cucamonga, other places we lived in So Cal. Now it sounds like they are everywhere. I wonder if some of these people are from Occupy Wallstreet....
“Moreover, it makes Los Angeles feel more like Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paolo than the shining city of the Golden State.”
I’ve lived in L.A. 5 times. I visited Sao Paolo, spent 2.5 weeks in Brazil visiting a friend there.
I didn’t see ANYTHING in Brazil as bad as L.A.
I lived in California 5 times. There are expensive homes there and cheap ones, depending on where you live. Temecula, Colexico, Auburn, Modesto, Sacramento, Victorville, Santa Clarita, all very cheap. Austin is no longer cheap. I still get emails of homes for sale out there since we used to live in Calif. I paid 6 times more for my Texas house than my sister paid for hers in Victorville Ca.
Up around Silicon valley homes are expensive. Inside Austin City Limits you get a tiny shack for a million dollars. My sister thought she would live in California for a few years then sell her house and buy ANY house she wanted in Okla. She sold her her for $150K and there are homes in Tulsa for many million. It doesn’t always work out for the Californians. My friend sold her house in El Cajon for $649K. In our current neighborhood, just outside Austin, her house would have sold for several million, she had 2.68 acres.
So people are buying homes in Austin suburbs. So the way this area is growing, Austin will probably be greedy and annex all these nice towns, and that will ruin these towns. We will lose our small town identities. Sad. Hopefully I will die before it happens.
