I assume there's some meme / anecdote / history / iconic-viral TV-movie scene regarding "vertical videos" that one must be familiar with, before finding this video funny. I'm not familiar with one, so didn't find it funny either. But others here found it funny, so they must be aware of whatever it is you need to know as a precursor to finding the humor.

I'd ask someone for the cultural reference, if I didn't know from long experience that it's usually a waste of time on both the part of the speaker & listener to have a joke explained after the punch line has been heard.
