Awesome. I look forward to trying some of this natural medicine, I’m sure you have suggestions for where to get these herbs too.
Also, holy crap, there are more responses and wise comments than we would see on the Thread if Q dropped. Ok maybe not quite, but close
Thanks, lj. I ordered some Saraswati Churna yesterday, on your recommendation.
I’ve been taking it once a day on an empty stomach in the morning, about a heaping 1/2 t. I keep meaning to take it twice a day. I do think it has helped my mental acuity noticeably. I also take Bacopa and Brahmi (Gotu Kola) equal amounts together. Usually I take them in a blend with a few other herbs but I need to mix up some more. My poor brain needs all the help it can get.
Interesting LJ. Thanx a lot

Can you send me where you purchase.
I think this will be a great help for me.

Thank you again, LJ, for your vast knowledge of natural remedies. I will recommend some to a friend who has just been diagnosed with Parkinson. God bless you!
I haven’t read the entire thread so maybe it’s been discussed.
Any tips for Covid?
A lot has been discussed on the main FR thread where I hang out. I’ll spread the word and ask people who know to post over here.
There are some very good herbs that traditionally and currently are used for Parkinsons, especially Kapi Kacchu. I will post sources, some use the Latin names, for KK it is Mucuna Pruriens.
I will post sources and links later today.
My toddler was very fearful of everything. It kept her from enjoying life. She was afraid of adults and even other children. I started putting bacopa into her bottles and the improvement was dramatic. I had forgotten about it til I saw your post. It really worked. (She had a very traumatic birth.). She became very friendly and open and fun and she still is years later.
That is an excellent testimony. There are likely quite a few herbs that would help in such an issue; that’s one of the interesting things about the herb world. More than one often can help, and each herbs has many different uses.
The Bacopa I’ve used for years comes in powder form; sometimes a bit less powdered than other bags. Did you make a tea and strain it, just add the powder, or other way?
I thought I had arthritis in my hip. I was scheduled for a total hip replacement. My hip had been hurting for about 2 years. 3 weeks later, while lying on the couch I started screaming in pain. I was crazy, passing out, coming to, passing out again.
I spent 5 hours in the ER before I was transferred to a room while I waited for surgery.I don't remember a lot of it, thank God. /p>
By the time I had surgery my hip had crumbled. It took 5 surgeries in 11.5 months to keep my hip from dislocating. I was dislocating my hip an average of every 8 days.
Now I have more joints dyeing. Probably at least one knee, both shoulders. Usually if you have AVN it will be in both hips. I need a full body scan.
I am not getting blood to my joints and bones, probably caused by steroids and heavy cigarette use. I don't use either now, except a steroid inhaler twice a day.
Oh my goodness, I never heard of that condition. I am sorry you are having to go through this. I do not know what would help. Lack of blood flow to joints and bones. Sounds as though herbs that assist with circulation and bone strength could be useful. I can look up and post herbs for helping with bone and tendon/cartilage joint strength and health, and also for blood circulation.
Maybe some alternative healing methods like a good acupuncturist or BodyTalk, which I hate the name of, but saved my life about 17 or 18 years ago. It is a seemingly, to me, “woo” method that is actually based on Ayurvedic and CTM (Chinese Traditional Medicine) foundation of elements, chi and prana, organ relationships.
I will find a link, you can look up practitioners. If you want to know more I can freepmail a bit about my experiences with it. THey also have a “spiritiual” thing which I utterly abhor and disagree with. But the regular therapeutic treatments I found extremely good.

BodyTalk System
BodyTalk System, a holistic therapy grounded in the belief that living organisms have the capability to heal themselves more effectively than any technology used today, combines elements of both Eastern and Western medicine to facilitate personal healing and growth.
By addressing the entire person rather than one specific issue, BodyTalk provides a “whole-healthcare” system that promotes emotional, physical and physiological well-being. Therapists who practice BodyTalk use a number of techniques, all of which are non-invasive, to help those in treatment tap into the body’s natural system of healing.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE BODYTALK SYSTEM
The BodyTalk System was developed in the 1990s by Dr. John Veltheim, an Australian chiropractor, acupuncturist, and teacher. Contributing factors to the development of this treatment method include Veltheim’s postgraduate studies in kinesiology, bioenergetic psychology, sports medicine, and counseling, among others, and his search to meet his own healthcare needs while dealing with a life-threatening illness. He traveled the world to find answers, exploring alternative remedies in both Eastern and Western medicine, and an osteopath in New Zealand introduced him to techniques that eventually became the foundation for the BodyTalk System.

Thank you. Sent me anything that could possibly help.
Lucky me, it’s rare, only 10.000 to 20,000 cases a year in the US

I gave her a very small dropper amount that was in a tincture that did contain a tiny bit of alcohol but I learned that was not enough to affect her. I put it into her milk bottles.
