Because they do investigative research work and analysis that I have not found anywhere else, and that I think is worth sharing with others—and they provide the results of that work for free. A friend with mutual interests first introduced that site to me around the time that I also first found out about Free Republic.
If you know of any—ANY—other sites that have the kind of unique information I find there on some of the topics they cover that are important to me, please—PLEASE—by all means, let me know where it is.

I’ve bought several of their books, and have emailed them a few times to thank them for their work, and to send them some info I’ve found that was relevant to a couple of their articles. Does that count?
I suggest you email them if you have some problem with them. I’ve found them very responsive and decent to deal with.
