What’s interesting to note is that Rugby is still the biggest sport in France, but it’s quickly changing.
Today we took a walk down the river Spree and had a picnic at the Berlin Wall.There is a pool across the river that we have actually never been in. It is deep and has no shallow end. We can all swim but it's nice to be able to stand or sit in a pool. There are numerous other pools we visit. One morning some years ago they found a drowned teenager in it. The tall buildings are called "Twin Towers" over their main doors. Picture
Along the way my wife spotted a famous DJ who did remixes for big Stars like Michael Jackson and wrote Sex Bomb for Tom Jones. She asked for a picture with our daughter and he was happy to do that.
He also was a judge on the German version of American Idol.
We were soon walking past a hotel near Universal Music Headquarters. My wife spotted DJ Mousse T sitting alone wearing headphones connected to a laptop. My wife asked for a photo and he was happy to do so. Then we walked on the street side of the Berlin Wall were the tourists are. I heard many Americans talking. Most of the art gets changed but there are some main stay pieces like Brezhnev Kissing Honecker. There was a large crowd at that place so we kept walking.picture
On a corner at the Berlin Wall is this button. My daughter pushed it and she noted nothing happened. I asked her how does she know? Ask someone where you are. She said: I can see I am still here. I told it says "return to USA" and you are not from USA. Then she told me to push the button and I replied: Oh Hell No! (LoL!)
We crossed a bridge for the walk back, picture. My wife is a journalist and said she can get me tickets to Lollapalooza. I told her yes please. Dua Lipa is going to perform there!
