I’m sure Senator McCain is not himself.
They always called it “his fiery temper.”
It was seldom pointed out that he was a jerk with a bad temper.
These are comments made in the past.
It was his turn to play candidate.
Geez.
I voted for this guy for president.
They started calling him “Maverick” after that dumb movie with Tom Cruise, and McCain thought he was “Maverick” (he was THAT stupid)
Then they tried to make it sound like he was ‘a maverick’ in congress for going against his own party and siding with democrats- “Reaching Across the Aisle” is their sanctimonious term when a republican does it.
And he fell for it and kept doing it, to get more praise. He was THAT stupid...

I do believe the parties have such persons on standby for each election. When the opposition appears to have a great candidate the party will nominate a loser and a “non standard” VP, usually a woman. After all, in the past all that mattered was which party controlled the purse strings of the treasury. The losing party will just scream and holler and put on a show till their turn again.
In the last election Hillary was the shoo-in and deemed the President long before the vote. The rest was just Kabuki theater. TRUMP was to be the “also ran fall guy”.

Well, clearly the media needs to make a decision.
Either he is St. John about whom no negative word may be uttered, regardless of accuracy; or it’s McCain the effing GOP nominee for President that can be trashed to a fare-the-well.
I just wish he’d die.
McCain must always have talked liberalism when he was alone with these people. Otherwise, they would have nailed him to the wall for comments like these, and they wouldn’t have given him the “maverick” excuse.

The damage McCain is doing actually helps our cause in many ways.
