The “liberal” global order folks did themselves in because it dissolved its ties to the roots of the political cultures and nations from which it sprang.
Fukuyama is one of those guys “Liberals” love to quote, even though most all his prognostications over the years have been wrong.
What can be more anti-democratic that the WTO and other trade treaties that pass control of economically significant portions of the economy to unelected and often foreign bureaucrats? Not to mention the EU Commission, whose unelected members charge Poland's elected government with embracing "anti-European" un-democratic values.
It is the suffocating and corrupt "Grosse Koalition" in Germany that is pauperizing the German working and middle classes and flooding the country with ignorant, violent foreigners, driving millions of voters into the waiting arms of "extremist" parties that have the temerity to insist that Germany remain, well, German.
In every Western country, it is the globalist attempt to replace democracy with a corrupt, unaccountable administrative despotism that is creating political instability.

In the coming years globalists/progressives will “amend” the constitution out of existence.
