Well, termites do repair their mounds if an aardvark breaks in.

I still open doors for women (and others who look like they could use the hand) and my wife opens her own car door maybe twice a year as 'forgetfulness" occurs.

Grew up at a time when common courtesy was still around but was stating to erode as the college students decided that it was "better to be Red than dead" and then decided that being Red was actually preferable to everything else.

Child of the '50s and watched things start to get really mixed up in the '60s and the rest has been a downward spiral.

We live 30 miles from the nearest city and a few of miles outside a one stop-light little town of maybe 800 people.

What we see and hear on the TV about what is going on in the rest of the country is not familiar to us. It's like the news is about a foreign country, not the one we live in.

Author needs to deal with conflict management.

Your society is being conquered. Act accordingly.

"Judge Not lest Ye be Judged"

I disagree totally.

How about, "Judge, and be worthy of being judged"?

I shared a story (from FR) about militant trannies the other day with my wife and she shrugged and said, "Who am I to judge?" and I sorta blew up.

Who are YOU to judge? YOU are a member of society and that includes responsibility for keeping it whole! If you ran a daycare would you let the kids do what they wanted saying, Who am I to judge?

Needless to say, things went downhill from there...

Got a comfortable couch?

Tolerable, and it gets occasional use - but not for football games.

;)

Well, they build it again. A beaver will repair his dam not if it gets obliterated - but if it needs maintenance.

MOST people I know repair things before they get destroyed. That’s going away (Notice how people’s messy, dumpy houses are getting more common ?_

Do yourself a favor. Go on a total media black out for at least a week. Turn off the TV, radio, computer, smart phone and then see how you feel.

Please don’t misunderstand me. The perpetrators you list should have been punished severely. Deep sadness overcomes me at the thought of a five year old girl suffering in that way. Not to mention rage at the thought of the criminal who did it.

What I’m saying is it seems that this situation is being used for another agenda. I’m not sure exactly what agenda, one possibility is to accelerate our decline into an Orwellian nightmare. The new narrative I see is one that tries to blur the distinction between real assaults like what you’ve experienced and normal speech between men and women. Or outright false accusations.

Consider these few quotes of the many: ‘the face of the earth (i.e. planet)’ (6:1); ‘end of all flesh… the earth is filled with violence … I will destroy them with the earth’ (6:13); ‘destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven, and everything that is in the earth shall die’ (6:17). If God had intended to describe a global world-destroying flood, He couldn’t have said it any more clearly. The bible was written by man and the writing was kind of restricted to what mankind, at that time, could understand. all of the sealife did not die and the idea that water covered the entire planet to the top of mount Everest is nonsense.....where did that water go?????

......(((The bible was written by man and the writing was kind of restricted to what mankind, at that time, could understand. all of the sealife did not die and the idea that water covered the entire planet to the top of mount Everest is nonsense))).....

The local flood concept is both ‘theologically’ and ‘scientifically’ unsound..... As near as I can tell, the only reason to hold to this concept is to gain the acceptance of secular scientists who deny God’s Word...... Once an individual starts down the compromise road, one error begets another, until all portions of Scripture which disagree with the secular viewpoint of the day are thrown out.

As for where did the waters go...Psalm 104 suggests an answer..... After the waters covered the mountains (verse 6), God rebuked them and they fled (verse 7); the mountains rose, the valleys sank down (verse 8) and God set a boundary so that they will never again cover the Earth (verse 9)[1]. They are the same waters!

Clearly, what the Bible is telling us is that God acted to alter the Earth’s topography. New continental landmasses bearing new mountain chains of folded rock strata were uplifted from below the globe-encircling waters that had eroded and leveled the pre-Flood topography, while large deep ocean basin were formed to receive and accommodate the Flood waters that then drained off the emerging continents.
Mountains and water

That is why the oceans are so deep, and why there are folded mountain ranges.

https://christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-floodwater.html

Further...Jesus Christ based His teaching of coming judgment on all mankind on the fact that Noah’s Flood judged all mankind (Matthew 24:36-39; Luke 17:26-27)........ A local flood implies a ‘partial judgment’..... Likewise, Peter based his prophecy that the existing planet will ‘melt with fervent heat’ (II Peter 3:10)...... and an entire new heavens and new earth will be re-created (3:13) on the historical fact of the global Flood of Noah’s day (3:6).

All things considered, few doctrines are taught as clearly in Scripture as that of the global Flood.
