I signed up about 3-4 months ago. My account is still in this approve-before-post mode. It seems to take significant time before it is approved. This basically killed my will to contribute to site. It’s like being at a party and trying fo participate in a conversation, but you need to submit every comment for review before you can speak it. I am not sure what led to this requirement. I have been on the Internet since the 1980s, and this is the first site that I ever joined that had rules like this. There are some that restrict access to certain boards, or that limit PMs or other features for new members. But none that I know of that moderate every post before it is posted.
So I just lurk and read other’s posts. This post is a rare exception, assuming anyone ever sees it.
New rule should be that newbies have to take out a 2nd mortgage on their house and family to afford the entry fee...
They have to be “logged in” to post.
Let’s do the Time Warp, again.
There is a secret initiation ritual that involves being stuned by a beber.
If you post to Free Republic, rule 3.4.c.89,
states you must use big words,
such as ‘equivocal’ or ‘complicity’.
Otherwise, that is ‘deleterious’ to transcendent cohesion.
See I used a big word, ‘deleterious’, and the moderators accepted the post.
[Commentor is thinking, what the hades?]
have you thought about FRmailing Jim???
You must memorize the ZOT procedure and take a test on it. See this thread:

My first post posted just fine, mind you it was 1787 and it took two weeks by pony express.
