I thought the 405 was North and South...

Yeah, that's how that works.

But has he been given permission to emigrate? Somehow I don’t think Russia wants him on their welfare rolls.

That's what he did.

Yes California, a campaign that has generated headlines for months for trying to find a way to force California to secede from the United States, is technically based in San Diego, but the man who leads it lives in Russia. Now he says he’s staying there for good and ending his association with the movement. Call it a Calexit from Calexit.

When he changes his mind, do we have to let him back into the US?

Reading between the lines I am guessing his wife is Russian.

They provide free medical care, such as it is, to everyone and he can easily find a job there...

They think Americans are all workaholics and great hires.

In the days of czarist empire expansionism, the Russians not only occupied and claimed Alaska but also parts of what is now northern California and hardcore Russian nationalists into relatively recent times, had maps showing these parts as part of Russia.

Russia is no longer a communist country.

No, it's become a country of thugs, assassins, rogue gunslingers. Drivers of automobiles who have absolutely no idea of how to avoid horrid auto accidents. Now, there are strange movements afoot seeking lawn ordure--really smelly law and order,

. . . do we have to let him back into the US?

They let Oswald back in. Whether or not he was the lone assassin.

Hate to tell you this but Russia driving was extremely frightening back in the mid-90's.

Then in Tbilisi it was even worse.

A friend told me Spain is even worse if possible.

That's your viewpoint. I have friends there. It is a country with a much stronger Christian culture than here.
