Was season 5 the last season with Damian Lewis? I really didn’t like the way they wrote him out of the show.
They killed him off at the end of season 3.

He'd already betrayed the country and then betrayed his betrayal several times over.
I'd rather they killed off Claire Dane's character, but it was her show, so they couldn't.
Caught a few minutes of replay this morning on PBS…am deeply deeply saddened and enraged that one of my favorite actors is such an incredible idiot.
Yes, brilliant on Homeland…he’s always held up the sky as a performer since Princess Bride.
You can rent Homeland free at your library and never enrich this jerk with a dime again.
Homeland was beyond excellent in seasons 1 and 2, after that it sucked.
On every show he’s been in he plays the same character - an arrogant jerk.
Apparently he is not really “acting”.
