You aren't and when Trump does something stupid or just flat out wrong, we are more than capable of saying so....with impunity here.
No, thank you. No leader is above criticism.
But criticize or praise the content of his policy, or actions for that matter, at will. Otherwise, why not just create a fan club and close down the dialog on this site?
It's possible to argue 'this is a bad choice / action' without attacking the man / our president.
I love Trump and supported him strongly back when more than half here seemed to be trashing him. But I supported him for rational reasons, not because I worship him. I liked his policy, and thought he could git 'er done.
I will remain rational and honest, which requires that I call something stupid that I think is stupid. Trump WILL do stupid things. We can call those things stupid without calling him stupid.
Often though, Trump is playing chess and will expose his bishop so he can take the queen. So usually when it looks like he's doing something stupid, it's best to sit back and watch before pulling out the criticism. There is much to learn from his fake mistakes.
Still, your comment strikes me as blind following. I don't think that's what you meant.
I won’t attack him when he listens to the real Americans that elected him. When he’s listening to his ‘socially liberal’ daughter and her husband and betraying the folks that got him to the White House, however, I’ll point out his shortcomings until the site owner tells me I can’t.
Now you go worship your new idol while I continue to worship God.
Those wars distracted the base.
I thank my lucky stars that I don't have to put up with 1% of the sh!t that he's getting put through right now. I'd be channeling Boris Yeltsin.
“Attacking President Trump puts you in with those traitors.”
There are very good reasons to call attention to mistakes. Attacking supporters for calling out mistakes is not a good idea. You should fine tune your words a bit or all you will do is drive people away from FreeRepublic.
My President, right or wrong, but my President.
“Dont you tell me what to do.”
Should have said ‘please’.
Trump is very sharp. Yeah Ryan’s Obamacare is “wonderful” (lol - Ryan is being played) and he also said it’s open for discussion/debate and Pence stating it was far from it’s final form. It will be shortly met with Rand Paul’s version. But in the meantime just say ‘please’ and I’ll politely consider the proposal. In the meantime Trump is the MAN and deserves the type of support which is qualitatively different than any president in history.
If trump can’t assert himself over rogue fed judges, deal with a pussy for an attorney general, stop nationally devastating leaks, arrest folks that have illegally wiretapped him.....
This isn’t going as well as planned. Trump needs to step it up pronto or he’s going to get throttled.
That isn’t on me, it’s on him.
Sorry no one gets a blank check. I support DJT but the Heath Care bill is a POS. It looks like he’s pushing it to get a win l’m sorry to say.
Agree wholeheartedly with the content of this vanity post...
If President Trump (so nice to say!) supports that $hit-sandwich health-care bill that Paul Ryan just excreted, I will attack. Too soon to judge where President Trump ends up on this, but I’m not following anybody blindly. I fell for WMD-in-Iraq and nation-building hook, line and sinker. But I’m older and, hopefully, wiser now.
Are Rand and McConnell best buds now? If not, nothing of Rand will see the light of day in the Senate. Hopefully, Rand can make enough stink to position himself for 2020 if, God forbid, President Trump loses control of this process and we get ObamaCare-Lite.
Well said... to too many deaf ears.
Well Joe, if you are from Arizona, why dont you start with your two Senators first. I think the majority of Freepers arent as busy as those two attacking President Trump.
Guys, watch this video from the Hannity Show tonight. This explains it all incase some of you have forgotten.
