I read a good analysis today that posited you need somebody skilled at reorganizing big enterprises, getting the company on a single mission, and knows how to “right-size” an organization. ExxonMobil has about 90k people — State is 1/3 of that. I think he would,be brilliant at State.

This is about political appointees, contractors and consultants hired into the bureaucracy during Obama’s tenure. That’s my guess.

I did a job to help site a bunch of solar panels at a gov’t site. It was to help power their new fleet of electric cars. All done with the vapor plume of a 1200 mega-watt nuke plant in the background!
