If, on the other hand, he felt it necessary to have a press corps, he should grant passes to Breitbart, Infowars, Daily Caller, etc., and pull the passes from hoaxers like WaPo, MSNBC, and CNN (as well as Politico).
I agree, on both Hannity and the issue.
Trump needs to continue talking to citizens like the did during campaign, using state-of-the-union / fireside chats like FDR did, on a biweekly, but at least monthly basis.
He needs to use these chats to update citizens on how he is working to force corrupt Congress back into its constitutional Article I, section 8-limited power cage, while putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its Section 8-limited powers.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Trump also needs to propose new amendments to the Constitution for those issues that the states deem appropriate for the corrupt feds to be involved in.
I gotta believe Bannon’s all over this.
The epitome of feel-good actions that only end up hurting yourself.
Hannity acts like the MSM will stop reporting on Trump if they’re frozen out.
He’s wrong.
Bannon, Conway, etc. are too sophisticated to take this seriously - they want to manage their message.
The MSM will still have access to Trump’s critics and report their side of the issue, and if the administration won’t talk to them they won’t be able to get their story out.
It would be nice if everyone stopped watching TV news and reading newspapers and instead just read Breitbart, but that’s not happening.
Mark: I would do away with that rediculous Annual White House Correspondents Dinner as well. A bunch of bullcrap display of hypocrisy of “putting aside” their differences, blah, blah, ...blah, blah, blah.
If I were Trump, I’d tell them to stick where the sun doesn’t shine.
