A not-too-subtle jab at Trump's 1995 business loss, and a variation of the "You Didn't Build That" thrown in.
No come back from Granholm about that half of Americans don't pay federal income tax, and why it isn't a fairness issue.

Look, if you HAVE the finances Donald Trump has, you'd go out of your way to look for every legal loophole yourself anyway. Gov. Granholm, you might want to ask well-known Democratic support Warren Buffett on WHY he's hired the best tax specialists to keep his tax burden low--and has been so successful that he actually said some time ago his own effective Federal tax rate is substantially below that of his own personal secretary!

What’s pathetic is most of the democrat base that are OUTRAGED that Trump paid no taxes, haven’t paid a cent in tax either and actually get thousands back in the Earned Income Tax Credit (IE welfare) every year....

To: JBW1949
Hey Jenihole, he lost HIS money surely he gets to deduct the loss as much as the government gets to tax his making money, except for you libs, it is a one way street, all money belongs to the government.

Did Trump seek a tax deduction on his underwear? Do you get a bigger write-off for Boxers or Briefs?
To: Sir Napsalot
"There's a fairness issue"No Jennifer, because you are a democrat politician you overlook the most important issue.
Following the Constitution as written and amended.

I am pretty sure that, if you are Donald Trump’s CPA, you DO look for every loophole under every rock. You are EXPECTED to do so.
Perhaps we should examine Ms. Granholm’s tax returns. See what “business deductions” she takes. ?

Granholm is a useless sack of [fill in the blank]. One of the worst things from Canada ever to spill across into Michigan.

Hey!
I have an Idea.
How about we get rid of the Income Tax Entirely!?
That would save untold man power and resources and would lessen tax cheating!
Anyone?

Then they are foolish if not stupid. And noting stops anyone from writing a check to the treasury at any time. So, Mr democRAT, lead by example, write a check to Uncle Sam in an amount that clears your bank accounts. . .you know. . .to prove you are serious.
If I could get away with not paying ANY taxes and do so legally, I would in a heartbeat.
