No, the election turns on who gets the most votes. Thus, Trump needs to win big the Independents, keep winning with White males, increase his White female vote, get some Blacks and Some Hispanic and the youth vote. He does this with a simple message with 3 main issues and then another 7 or so down the line. Number 1- The economy and jobs, we're in the 7th year of the great Obama recession - Trump should do very well here. Number 2: Illegal immigration Number 3: Reduce the size and scope of government and taxes. 4-10 are fairly obvious where he beats Hillary. Next GOTV Get out the vote.
Trumps’s loss will square fall at the feet of the RNC!!! They had an agenda from the get-go and that was to destroy trump and make a mockery monkey out of him.... Strikes me that the actual campaign will be vastly different from this current silly season discussion.
I think Trump is the one candidate with enough strength of personality to withstand the firestorm of Democrat-media distraction from the real issues.
I believe this will become self-evident in September.
But what happens now to the convention is important only in terms of taking advantage of any opportunities to broaden the base slowly but surely. If there isn’t much traction in the summer, it won’t be a fatal blow. But it’s a good time to practice being presidential.
It’s pretty clear from facial expressions and body language that on CNN, staffers have been warned by powers that be to give Hillary unwavering support without hints of doubt or criticism. Somebody will break from those ranks at some point. That in itself may be a game-changer.
We are a long way into this revolution without seeing any dissident movement from within. Sure there are dissidents from the natural opposition, but in our case, it’s a choice between spiritual death and speaking out. For the palace guard, it’s a choice between job security and the truth. That’s a harder choice to make.
