I’m hoping Trump gets the nomination, impales the GOP, and finishes them off.

We have time to build something better. Any traditional GOP candidate will lose handily for the next half century or more.

Time to retool.

Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

• irreparably splinter the party
• destroy voter enthusiasm
• induce countless Trump voters to stay home
• lose to Hillary in a November landslide

The only reason the GOP would allow Cruz to get the nomination would be so they could say “see we told you a conservative can’t win” because they know, as well a we know, that Ted could not win the general.

First let me say that if Trump wins the nomination, I’ll vote for him.

Secondly, seeing all the other comments on this thread makes me wonder about the commitment to “unity” that JimRob has talked about. By that I mean this:

-If Trump gets the nomination, we should all get behind him and defeat Hillary.

however...

-If Cruz gets the nomination on 2nd, 3rd (or whatever) ballot, then everyone here will not unify behind him?

Do ya’ll realize that by doing that, you’re handing the election to the Duchess of Stalingrad?

In other words, #NeverTrump gives the election to Hillary just as #NeverCruz does.

And to those who protest by saying “If Cruz gets nominated, we’re screwed anyway”....What will you actually do when Hildabeast is inaugurated? Will you leave the country....or just complain?

I’m not saying this to be mean, I honestly would like answers here.

Cruz will not even be at the convention. He’s going to be forced out soon. Its disgraceful that Kasich is still in. If anybody else was leading the party would have forced both of these losers out already.

He couldn't have said that because all the Trumpsters say he's been supporting Cruz.

But then again, he also couldn't have said that because all the Cruzers say he's been supporting Trump.....

And yet again, the Rubiosters and haystack-Kasichs say Rush is supporting both Cruz and Trump.........

Rush's miscalculations up to this point have been staggering!

I stopped listening as he was so out of step, having no understanding of what the answer to Hillary needed to be.

If Cruz wins at all, whether it be the second ballot or the two hundredth ballot, the Republican Elite won’t have done their jobs. The Republican Elite hate Cruz more than they hate Trump. They hate Trump because they fear and respect him. They neither fear nor respect Cruz, they only hate him.
