What I don't get is how Cruz can be called a puppet of the Establishment. Well then, do some reading.
Up-thread even.

What makes you think he isn’t already under their control?
He has the Bush team on his team now.
He previously voted for Corker and cloture for TPA.

What Cruz doesnt know is that if he is successful in blocking Trump, these so-called new backers are going to throw him under the bus for someone they can control Oh he knows...and he's okay with it which is the really scary thing about Cruz.

Ted will get a primary opponent in two years. A bunch of people down in Texas wont be so enthusiastic for him the second time around. This 2016 presidential campaign will be the high point of his political career. After that its all gonna go downhill for him. Not to worry though. Im sure the establishment has a nice lucrative DC lobbyist job all lined up for him as his reward for being their puppet. Exactly. He stayed in long enough to get a nice comfy retirement package from the establishment. Thanks for being our boy Ted!

"Funny things, those facts.............."
Yeah, pretty amazing. You know, the anti-Cruz vote (using the same logic) is much worse than the anti-Trump vote.
In Virginia, 83% of the people voted against Cruz, while only 65% voted against Trump.
In Florida, 83% voted against Cruz, while only 55% voted against Trump.
In Ohio, 87% voted against Cruz, while only 65% voted against Trump.
Yep, funny things, those facts.

I understand-—we all do-—but at some point you must win something to continue that, and not just the nomination.
We can see to it that the GOPe doesn’t win ANY down-ballot seats. After 2-3 purges, you can bet they won’t have their seat at the trough.

Not only should we get rid of the seats...we need to get rid of the trough.

That one will be very tough. Reagan couldn’t even get rid of a tiny section of the trough.

Well David, you’re nothing if not consistent in perpetuating Cruz propoganda. At this point Cruz is nothing but a useful idiod by the GOPe. I doubt he’ll make it under the bus before Romney/Ryan duo is announced.

Quit playing an idiot, you know better. All the teeth gnashing is doing is wearing out your teeth. If Trump is able to take 1237 to the convention, he is it, fair and square. Cruz and Cruzbots will not stand for anything different.
As to how many voted for Trump, that has zero bearing on the convention. 2/3rds of Primary voters DID NOT vote for Trump. Its delegates, not votes.

“A bunch of people down in Texas wont be so enthusiastic for him the second time around.” You are right.... the Yeller Dog democrats. Are you voting democrat?
Your flaccid assertion is not based on fact. Cruz is immensely popular in Texas.
If Cruz is not elected POTUS, he will be Texas Senator as long as he cares to keep the job.

Cruz shouldn’t get out until there’s no mathematical chance for him to win, which should be after NY, NJ, etc. Then he’s wasting other people’s money which isn’t a conservative principle. No, it’s rather very establishment-like.

Actually it will take the majority in the Supreme Court to make such decision. Never happen.
Trump and his Trumpbots do yourselves no favor dwelling on what you wish and hope while ignoring facts and reality.

The 2016 rules committee will meet about a month prior to the actual convention.
THAT THEN should yield some answers to the many OPINIONS going around.
