The fever-pitch of hatred against Trump, in its virulence unlike that toward any other R candidate, should make Republican voters consider well what his enemies fear he could do or end.

We know who trump's enemies are and the list grows every day. We also know that if there was anything really big that meant something, it would have been plastered out there by those same enemies because they really seem to fear him.

Most of the individuals and groups you name are not Trump’s enemies in any real sense. They are his long-term Progressive allies and friends. Trump is a Progressive, just like they are.

I've donated hundreds to Cruz over the last 6 months - I "hate" those who slam anyone with such zeal that they will twist anything into Mt. Everest if it suits their agenda. I find it stupid to take out either Cruz or Trump while Rubio and others may still have a slender chance. I also think it's stupid that many have stated that they will never vote for Cruz or Trump - even if it means letting Hillary or Bernie follow Obama's eaight year tour of destruction.

I've listened to lots of what he has said - most of the time because someone asks if I've heard what trump said - usually, he has put a lot more context in and that context trashes the meme that those who try to trash him have "gleaned" from it.
I don't give a rat's behind for his attempt to define "conservative" - you'd probably get a broad range of definitions right here on FR - I've had conversations with some who think it means "out-conservativing" the Constitution if it seems to make sense to them.
I'm not of the mind that Trump is the most conservative choice but after the last 8-16 years, I'm comfortable with him attaining the WH. I'm also comfortable with Cruz being there (he was my first choice and got lots of my money for 6-7 months) but he doesn't have the apparent broad base of support that Trump seems to have generated. I'd rather cheer trump gaining the WH than kick up dust ruing a close loss by Cruz.
