Well, with press members willing to tell the enemy what our plans were, distinct possibility that not saying what we found may have been thought a good idea at the time.
I don’t doubt that Jerry Rivers and his ilk would have drawn a friggin’ map to the stash if reported on.
Time will tell if this was a good idea or not.

I recall photos of fighter jets buried in the Iraqi desert. Fly that into a building and/pr load it with Sarin and you've got a WMD. Remember 9/11!

An Iraqi Air Force MiG fighter jet partially buried in the sand near the Tamous air base August 2, 2003 at Habaniya, Iraq, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of Baghdad. U.S. military units hunting Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction have uncovered more than 25 of the Iraqi air force fighter jets buried there to avoid being destroyed ...

I think that these older posts/threads could put a close on the accusations the Lib talking point posters are trying to push.. (which is why I love FR. It’s all here.. it’s all history, and there are still links).

Yup, I remember the mig 25 foxbat (more than one) with upgraded FRENCH avionics buried in the sand.
Crazy time it was.

Should, but won’t.
The talking points and goal posts will always move.

Yes, repost but have an a href link to the image instead of IMG src.
Haven’t heard if that is disallowed, I think it’s just posting it on FR due to Getty copyright whine.
(FR is pretty much the only place thus barred, everyone else in the world can use their images..)

Darksheare showed you today’s link. Back from maybe 2004-2008 or so, I posted the images directly here in News/Activism. Due to copyright problems with a few of them, among other reasons, I stopped posting them here directly, but continued posting them directly at several other sites. A few years after that, started posting them here again (now had to post in General/Chat) by linking to one of those other sites. Probably more info than you needed. Let me know if you want to be on the ping list...

Colin Powell said he was mislead on WMD in Iraq, there weren’t any WMD....Trump was right.
