Yep. I remember that. Levin killed Hatch’s challenger by endorsing Hatch.

Trump doth protest too much. I think Cruz has hit a sensitive spot about him being a NY liberal. Haha.

I’m sitting here, open-mouthed, trying to make myself believe this is a post from an actual adult.
I was thinking the same thing. Making fun of a person’s appearance is just immature.

I could care less who his wife works for. People have jobs because they need the income. Working for Goldman Sachs has probably been a good job for her to help support her family. I don’t see Goldman Sachs as evil.
To: dandiegirl
His wife working at Goldman Sachs is not the issue.
At least for me.
Cruz got a $500,000 loan from Goldman Sachs in 2012.
He did not disclose the source of this loan in his filings.
He hide his loan relationship with Goldman Sachs,
one of the most hated Wall Street companies in the country.

Were they wrong when they said Trump wrote checks to help Hillary and other Democrats?

Heâs winning âby a LOTâ without it.
Nope. He's not "winning" at all - no votes yet. And if he's ahead after a few primaries he still won't be "winning". Meanwhile, his net favorability ratings remain low, putting an upper limit on his vote-getting potential.

But you are prepared to embrace Trump over the most Conservative candidate that has come around in many many years, in modern times actually. (1) I don't think Cruz is electable. No one in celebrity-culture America knows who the hell he is. And he draws NO crossover votes from Democrats (1% according to Reuters) while Trump draws an astonishing 20%, as did Reagan.
(2) Immigration and the Islamic threat are my #1 and #2 issues. Cruz was AWOL on both until Trump came along. In fact worse than AWOL He espoused a 500% increase in H1-Bs, increase in legal immigration (1 million already!) and was wishy-washy on a path to citizenship. However Trump himself proposed most of his immigration views in a 2010 book, so they are legimitate. Cruz has also espoused unrestricted free trade views for his entire Bush/establishment caeer, whereas Trump has denounced the reality on unfair trade for 30 years.
(3) I just don't trust Cruz. His and Heid's resumes are 100% GOPe. Cruz espoused totally different positions before 2010's tea party revolution. He is a fictional character, as fake as the cowboy boots the Princeton/Harvard/Bush White House alum wears every single day in Iowa.
To: caveat emptor
Yeah yeah. He’s hit his “ceiling” for about 6+ months now.
Go Trump!
To: bgill
Yeah, and Trump is the voice of reason and sanity.
