The hassle of changing CCs and the like was kicked off during the evening.
I prefer holds and my UPS Store. I never have a package sent here. FedEX runs when no one is here normally. UPS is usually evening.
Half the time on a FedEx, the driver will call me since finding the UPS Store a block from the old one confounds their maps I guess.
I got a laptop I didn’t order once. I was expecting blankets from Bed, Bath and Beyond via Amazon. I contact Amazon, and they said to keep it. They said that according to Federal law, if you get something you didn’t order, you get to keep it. They said it would be covered, on their side, by insurance.
It was a very nice laptop. It lasted years. :)
That is only part of it. In order to keep them out of our CC because of their FRAUD issue, we have to mail in a paper script, takes a Month for them to fill it, 2 weeks for refills.
If we get meds from the Base they fill the original script, refills are 5 days out of Pensacola, FL to Millington, TN Naval Base. BUPERS...record keepers. Once was a training base.
The idiots came in last year and installed $7K speed bumps in the Exchange and Commissary, and at the gates. Gates I can see, but not 5 mph parking lots that even governs how you pull in. There is no real security at the gates, up until the TN shooting they used Rent a Security instead of Military Police. Nor do they do random searches of vehicles. The tire Puncture thing is always down. All they are armed with is side arms. PATHETIC.
Book marked.
The guy doesn’t give up.
We’ve had 3 separate FedEx pickup attempts. The first one today my wife was able to get a picture of the label. 2nd one showed up about an hour ago.
I have a name (bogus?), a street address that a residential neighborhood, bogus company name according to google and an email address.
Stuff to take to the LEOs for what good it would do. I’m tired of this game. I guess the local sheriff will work. First time for this. If I can help stop this guy, it would be a small victory against identity thieves.
I had to contact the vendor to check on the RMA label and that’s how I got the email address because they asked to confirm and it’s some ATT one.
This guy/group/whatever is a couple of states away.
I took a closer look at the FedEx label picture and on it in the corner describes the contents. Why not tip off everybody to what’s in the box?
If someone is caught, I’d like to FedEx go after them too since they’ve caused several dead end pickups wasting driver time, fuel, and mileage.
I’m half expecting another dead end FedEx pickup tomorrow. Another picture, more evidence. I guess trying some kind pressure technique.
