Romney, if he can secure the nomination, has a much better shot in 2016 than he did in 2012.This ploy is nothing more than the GOPe trying to punish Republicans who are not supporting their favored Jeb!
No more Jeb!
No more Mitt!
No more GOPe candidates!

"Mitt wants to run. He never stopped wanting to run," an anonymous senior adviser of Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign recently told New York magazine.
Mitt didn't really want to run the last time. Why would he want to repeat the experience?
I suggest two things are going on: 1) Romney is interested in the presidential race. That doesn't necessarily mean he wants to get involved. Heck, I'm interested and I'm not declaring my candidacy anytime soon. And 2) Anonymous Senior Adviser needs work and figures it would help him if he gets people talking about his last boss. Probably not -- considering how things turned out last time -- but who knows?

"Why Mitt Romney should save the Republican Party and join the 2016 race "
Mitt lost to the worse president in the history of the country. Assuming he's a competent administrator, he might do better to get behind and support the candidate most likely to win and vie for an suitable job in the next conservative administration.
