We've been watching Germany this tournament a lot knowing that we could well meet them in the semi-final and the day has come
Neid said it was uncomfortable after Germany beat Sweden 4-1 in the round of 16. And again after defeating France in a penalty shootout in last week’s quarterfinal.
“It was pretty sad,” she said. “We still had to share an elevator with them. You play each other, but you constantly run into each other. It should be avoided.”
“This is what this tournament is all about, and I really am so happy that we are playing against the No. 1 team in the world,” Krieger said. “I think this is what makes it so fun. This is why we’re here. We want to beat the best team in the world. To win the trophy, that’s what you have to do.”

I think not. USA defense playing to well to concede nearly that many - my concern is USA offense, which has been sluggish at best. With Rapinoe back and hopefully they've learned the lesson of "don't force everything through Wambauch", they have a chance, but someone will still need to step up (is this the time for Alex Morgan to break through?).
I hope this won't be the case, but my prediction is GER 2 - 1 USA.
