Air Force. They fly ‘cause they’re light in the loafers
Oh for crying out loud...
Better get used to it. Thanks to the media warping people's minds, our future will be "All Gay all the time."
You won't be able to get away from it, and I daresay refusing to participate will eventually be regarded as a "hate crime."
When they go on bombing runs do they drop their load in the rear?
Definitely not the USAF I was in back in 1966! We were read the riot act on homosexuality each year and had to sign a statement that we understood it.
In basic, we were given a day of KP at the out processing reject homo barracks. We were ORDERED to serve the meal, “Do not laugh, giggle, stare at what you see there!”
And we saw plenty. Men with lipstick, pearls, earrings, ect.
We were then told that we would not want to be around THAT barracks at night because of what was going on there in the dark.
Are you kidding me — When I joined the Navy it was punishable under the UCMJ, then don’t ask, don’t tell, I retired before it became mandatory.
Your whole life now becomes a search for the public acceptance of that act. Incredible.
Tell me why me or anyone regardless of gender, age or skin color give a crap, really who cares.
“Heller and Sweeney helped found Spectrum, the Air Force Academy gay and lesbian support group, of which Hill was one of the first members.”
But don’t quote scripture in the barracks, that 10-20 in Leavenworth............isis is just gonna be able to walk in unchallenged one of these days.
They joined The Air Force not to do the job .but to look for Sex Partners
My Air Force experience included 2 suicides by gays, one of whom was ostracized in a remote setting, the other a general’s aide whom authorities feared was subject to blackmail. Would today’s gay friendly military have prevented either? I don’t know, but I do know it would have been better had we not even walked down that road to reach the sorry state we are in today.
Hey, look on the bright side... no more blackmail threat!
Does anyone else remember (or is it just my imagination) that the full mando yearly training was “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Don’t Harass, Don’t Purse?”
And though my beloved USNA is prob just as bad now, gee USAF, gotta be so proud of them!
I remember commenting to a friend 30 years ago that I see the day coming when you won’t know whether to salute the old man or kiss him! Glad I’m retired.
“Let loose the dogs of sexual harassment accusations!”
I care about this. You don’t?
Rainbow Squadron
One of the things I saw that made me visibly cringe and depressed me was the PBS series “Carrier”.
Now, I know it is PBS. I KNOW they have no interest in displaying the military in anything but a negative light.
But I was appalled. Who were these whiny, immature, pathetic sailors and their officers? I almost wanted to barf.
And this Navy, that I grew up around, and spent four years of my life serving in, was at the forefront (with the Air Force) of advancing the homosexual agenda. It isn’t my father’s Navy, and not mine anymore, either.
Which is exactly the way the people wielding power right now want it. Look at Gates, the former SecDef. Presiding over the destruction of the Boy Scouts.
Sickening.
We had good folks when I was in, but even in the late '80s/early '90s, there was a certain element who were not capable of understanding what service meant. I had one female tell me to my face that if she was ordered to the gulf (Desert Shield/Storm), she'd hop on the Commander's desk and light up a joint.
I told her I'd love to be a witness in her court martial... for the prosecution.
I told her that she signed on the dotted line, no one forced her to do so, and that I'd have no problem seeing her serve prison time and have a dishonorable discharge.
For some reason, she didn't talk to me much after that.
I do believe they have tail gunners
