Mary Lee has been cruising the waters off the Jersey Shore and Long Island for the last two weeks. Now she's off the Virgina coast. From what I understand she's pregnant. She's probably not in a good mood either.

Agreed. I have never seen a large one but have gotten fairly close to some smaller ones. The most impressive encounter for me was having a ray pass the about 30’ overhead.

I’ve always enjoyed Quint’s telling of the sinking of the Indianapolis. But, in a display of the usual Hollywood ignorance of historical dates and with no adult supervision who cared whether it was right or not, they got it wrong. The USS Indianapolis was torpedoed and sunk on July 30, 1945.
