You’re right. It’s all about the money. Polls show that the plurality of Americans (42%) identify themselves as “conservative” while only 21% identify as “liberal.”
It’s time for the majority of Americans to show corporate America the power of the people by flexing economic muscle with coordinated national boycotts of the products of household name companies that cater to the fascist few.
As a demonstration, start with a couple of these large companies and crash their sales by refusing to buy their products.
We have the power in our hands to show them our prodigious strength. The energy only needs to be directed.
I tend to think that boycotting is the best and probably only recourse ‘straight’ persons like myself have for reaction. However, I would bet that many of the employees do have views/feelings that are different from the top corporate execs. These execs are in the drivers/publicity seats as to preaching the queer messages for public influence. I think back to the days when such people were the drunken party people. For me society is better off having to deal with inebriated persons than homosexuals.
