“Got nothing against local homey Laffer”
I’ve heard Art Laffer say that he voted for Clinton twice and Obama at least once.
He was completely blind to the housing bubble, getting into heated debates with those who were warning that we were in a dangerous bubble.
He likes to portray himself as an economic advisor to Ronald Reagan. In fact Laffer had left government service before Reagan’s administration and set up private practice. The closest he came to having any influence was as one member of a large council of outside advisors. That hasn’t stopped him from encouraging the public to believe otherwise.
A superior man, in regard to what he does not know, shows a cautious reserve. If names be not correct, language is not in accordance with the truth of things. If language be not in accordance with the truth of things, affairs cannot be carried on to success. When affairs cannot be carried on to success, proprieties and music do not flourish. When proprieties and music do not flourish, punishments will not be properly awarded. When punishments are not properly awarded, the people do not know how to move hand or foot. Therefore a superior man considers it necessary that the names he uses may be spoken appropriately, and also that what he speaks may be carried out appropriately. What the superior man requires is just that in his words there may be nothing incorrect.
A man who isn’t an idiot can make sense with his posts.
Your posts dont make any sense.
But as far as Stossel goes, he is no conservative.
