Not when school lunches are expanding to 6 PM childcare with free school dinners and school lunches during the summer - as if parents on SNAP somehow can’t feed them from May through August with the food money we give them, the same way they feed them on weekends and holiday breaks.
If a child isn’t getting fed by a parent without a school lunch, the parent should be investigated for child abuse or child neglect, and anyone who says they can’t feed their kid despite getting SNAP and other welfare should be sterilized immediately.

progressivism and liberal ideology is based on arrogance.
The subscriber of the above believe they know what is best for everyone as they are so much better educated, far more intelligent and generally of a much higher caliber than everyone else.
As such, they deserve to tell everyone else how to life their life - like it or not.
The world is filled with these types and they’ll always be with us. They’ll always get involved in local or federal politics to push their agenda.

The GOP should take the side of the kids...
Insist on a variety of foods put out for kids to eat that they can choose between. Then charge based on weight of plate...
