“Anti-Immigration” Party is a disparaging term of the Left. And it is inaccurate. The people in such parties, whether in Europe or the U.S., are in favor of the Rule of Law which means they are “Anti-Illegal”. They are also in favor of the protection of a country’s borders and the beneficial assimilation of immigrants through a proper immigration policy voted in by the elected Representatives. It is to be an orderly and involved process that any individual aspiring to be an American should willingly go through.
You have to remember that the Leftist media are paid professional liars - it’s their job to lie and they enjoy doing that.
True. But a “conservative” blogger posting at FR sure as heck shouldn’t do the same thing.
I respectfully disagree. The immigration in most of Europe is totally legal. For instance Sweden took 80,000 asylum seekers, many from Syria last year.
There is some illegal immigration directly from Africa in the Southern countries (Spain, Italy) but for most of the EU countries the immigrant problem is not an illegal problem, it's a legal problem. The political elites are purposely admitting huge numbers of foreigners.
The immigration issues of Europe are different than the immigration issues of America. Here in the US the issue is illegal immigration and in that you’re right the call is for the rule of law. In Europe we’re not talking about illegal immigration, we’re talking about legal immigration. These Muslims aren’t in France illegally. Many of them are French citizens or are there legally from French territories abroad. Others are there legally because of EU immigration laws. It is perfectly legitimate to use the term anti-immigration when referencing these European issues because that’s exactly what they are, anti-immigration. They want to change immigration laws to prevent further immigration into their countries. That’s a far cry from us here in America who just want the government to enforce the laws already on the books.

DHS' JEH JOHNSON AND SECY OF STATE JOHN KERRY SIGN OFF ON OBAMA'S ORDER to welcome into the US, immigrants with 'limited' terror contact
The Daily Caller | 2/5/14 / FR Posted by Nachum
The Obama administration has issued new exemptions to a law that bars certain asylum-seekers and refugees who provided limited material support to terrorists who are believed to pose no threat from the U.S.
The Department of Homeland Security and the State Department published the new exemptions Wednesday in the Federal Register to narrow a ban in the Immigration and Nationality Act excluding refugees and asylum seekers who had provided limited material support, no matter how minor, to terrorists.
These exemptions cover five kinds of limited material support that have adversely and unfairly affected refugees and asylum seekers with no tangible connection to terrorism: material support that was insignificant in amount or provided incidentally in the course of everyday social, commercial, family or humanitarian interactions, or under significant pressure, a DHS official explained to The Daily Caller.
Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson and Secretary of State John Kerry signed the exemptions. DHS contends that the law change is commonsense and that immigration procedures will remain the same in other respects. (Excerpt) Read more at dailycaller.com ...

REFERENCE: Oboma "announced" he was issuing an E/O and planned a "signing ceremony" at a Las Vegas gathering of illegals. E/O and signing ceremony never happened.
Obama was photoed signing "two amnesty memos" on AF One---not an "executive action." Why memos? B/c an E/O comes w/ legal baggage that the conniving Boobamba wanted to evade. Both "memos" are now on the Whitehouse website.
The first of Obama's presidential action memos is entitled: Creating Welcoming Communities Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees, filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).
In the category Presidential Documents at page 70769, Obama ordered a White House Task Force on New Americans to engage with community, business, and faith leaders, as well as State and local elected officials. The task force is designed to help determine additional steps the Federal Government can take to ensure its programs and policies are serving diverse communities that include new Americans.
The second of the presidential actions entitled, Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century, filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, in the category Presidential Documents at page 70765 (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).
This empowered the secretaries of State and Homeland Security, in consultation with the director of the Office of Management and Budget, the director of the National Economic Council, the assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, the director of the Domestic Policy Council, the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the attorney general, and the secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Labor and Education.
The order was to make a series of recommendations to reduce government costs, improve services for applicants, reduce burdens on employers, and combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the system of issuing immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

I will say this, it’s a shame that Obama backed the Muslim Brotherhood instead of El-Sissi. El-Sissi just gave a speech to rein in positions on issues like slavery, jihad and dealings with non-Muslims were adopted by scholars five centuries ago in a particular historical context. “These were opinions of scholars, these interpretations are not sacred.”
Also, this: There is also a push to encourage a nationalism that officials see as moderating religious sentiment. El-Sissi this week attended Christmas services for Egypt’s Orthodox Coptic Christians and declared that Egyptians should not view each other as Christians or Muslims but as Egyptians.
I was floored when I read that. Never does a Muslim have the courage to push for reform against the Imans
However, I suspect that like me other US readers will still blend the issue together and I do still believe the term anti-immigrant is inaccurate. Nobody is anti-immigrant. It is anti-unregulated immigration that ceases to protect a country's borders, schools and other social services against a hoard that harms existing citizens and that can bring a country's economy to its knees.
I understand there will be Americans who don’t realize the difference between Euro and American immigration issues. It’s the same thing with the political terms right and left, they’re different in Europe and the US. When the media talks about the “far-right” in Europe, people think it’s the same as here in the US. It couldn’t be any different. In Europe, everyone is a socialist. The “far-right” in Europe is still socialist, they’re just not as nuts as the Communists. No one over there is for free markets or even remotely close to what we think of as right-wing here in the US.
I will say this, in Europe these “far-right” parties are very much anti-immigrant. This is quite a bit different than the right here in the US, which isn’t anti-immigrant but rather anti-illegal immigration.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say Francois and Angie are Quisling’s. That’s a touch extreme. They do, however, appear to support some fanciful notion of European multiculturalism. On some level Merkel’s position is understandable. The Germans continue to be browbeaten over the sins of their great grandparents during the reign of the National Socialist German Workers Party. Merkel’s trying to avoid being called a Nazi. With Hollande, his motivation isn’t as clear.
Yes Indeed
the “lefts” use of improper” terminology to skew public opinion is their most “valuable” stock in trade.
bottom line.....we are anti chaos...anti dishonesty..and anti ILLEGAL
I would. This is a war. One side is using street-fighter dirty tricks, the other side is following the Marquis de Queensbury rules. Tell me who wins that one?
We need to toughen up and also fight as hard as them.
Angela has been calling her own German citizens who are resisting Islamicization fascists and racists and thugs. She is taking the part of the invaders against native Germans.
That is text-book Quisling.
That the future does not belong to people who insult the prophet Mohammed.
His way of saying I’m one of them.
Now look at a pro-immigration cartoon and the WELCOME SIGN! What USA is that?
You’re giving Quisling too much credit. He was a boob who the Nazi’s didn’t think very much of. Traitor to Norway yes but not a very competent one.
Look - everyday Europeans have to understand something... they HAVE to give up safe neighborhoods, their culture, and honest wages... BECAUSE their liberal elites want CHEAP LABOR for them to compete with.
If Europe’s liberal elite’s don’t have cheap labor they won’t be able to buy the extras Lamborghini or Ferrari for their kids and mistresses...
Have pity...
