That is a well-worn tactic from Rove’s bag of tricks. Thing is though, I’m getting sick of “freedom loving” my-way-or-the-highway atheists telling us what we can and cannot do and think. Christian candidates do get consistently torpedoed by their own side, and somebody is scared poo-less by Cruz. Thing is that I’m not sure what Cruz is actually good for. Bush family members do need to be avoided at all costs if for no better reason than an overly sentimental take on “friendship” the taxpayers get stuck footing the bill for and the tendency to kill off everything but the most groveling of yes men.

For those who don’t like Huckabee because he pardoned too many prisoners, or advocated for too many social programs, . . . . you call him a nanny-stater, and come up with all kinds of reasons to disqualify him, but what you’re really saying is that Huckabee is a Christian, all the way through, and that offends you. If it does, come out and say it.

I'm offended that someone thinks pardoning Maurice Clemmons and advocating budget-busting spending increases and entitlement expansions is what a true Christian would do.

What the author is attempting to do is create an "anti-Christian" card that is equivalent to the overused, burntout "Race" card used by Obama and the "Poverty Pimp" crowd.

To disagree with Huckabee is to be anti-Christian, just like to disagree with Obama is Racist, according to this article's Author.

It's wrong on so many levels, and dishonest in it's inference.

If you’re looking for a SMART Christian to be President, my choice would be Ted Cruz.
Ted Cruz would also be my choice. He's brilliant and he shares my values. I don't know if he's capable of being a leader on the world stage at this point, and I'm not sure he's going to run in 2016 either. But I'd vote for him over Huckabee.

The Establishment GOP would oppose him at all costs.
