How many here predicted just this type of leadership from the Republicans. Would rejecting a few rinos have made any difference at this point? But we were Reid, Obama, and Pelosi supporters because we predicted a weak Republican Congress would do more damage than throwing out some of the weak links. McConnell, and Boehner will give Obama everything he wants because they are scared to death of a government shutdown. Obama knows they are too frightened to fight so he is gloating over his unconstitutional action on illegal immigration by coming out this morning and saying he hoped the Republicans wouldn’t try to stop him due to a single disagreement. Someplace I am certain he is saying to Republican leaders, “Yeah, what are you going to do about it?” Unfortunately we know, they will grovel, and accuse each other. We already have a few highly placed rinos ultimately defending his actions by claiming Congress needs to pass an amnesty bill. I sincerely hope I will be eating these words in a couple weeks, but it doesn’t look good. The infighting is going to do even more damage to the party.

I'd like to see the States be proactive; push the issue: declare a state of invasion and start calling up their National Guard to address the situation while demanding the federal government honor Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution — this would bring everything to a head: either the States have the power to protect their citizens or they are wholly subservient to the federal government; either the federal government will honor the explicit and unambiguous words of the Constitution or they will not.

Would it cause a civil war?
I think only if the Federal Government tried to use military might against the States that would exercise their sovereignty.

Nothing has been done to even target. But damn the GOP for not having him arrested within 24 hours.

And btw, where are all of the conservatives in the peanut gallery? Should not we be in the streets? There seems to be lots of us that can complain behind a keyboard.

I don't care at all about the Republican party. I'm a conservative, not a Republican. That party needs to go the way of the Whigs if it can't get conservative.

It is worth noting that the house has ALREADY passed immigration bills that he and Reid wouldn't accept.

Interesting theory, but I do not believe paper pushers are smart enough to ask to see the actual EO before swinging into action. Especially since its in their personal interest to do so.

You don't deal with the south-of-the-border types daily, obviously. They won't be rushing the border any more than they already have, until everything is nailed down.

Time is only of the essence to you, apparently. I'm ok with waiting forever for him to promulgate an unlawful EO. Time wasn't important to the Dems, back when they had the house and senate.

If they see a chance to stampede the low-info republican types, they will take advantage of that.

The GOP morons chided Obama for taking most of the military options off the table in dealing with ISIS yet they have essentially the same thing in dealing with Obama. ISIS neither fears or respects the US and Obama neither fear or respect the GOP, both with good reason.

I imagine Boehner is drunk by now and having a good cry....
