All of conservative radio comforts me.
Savage is ticked that Levin beats him in the ratings and has moved into many of his old time slots.
Yeah. . .and in the DFW area, they cancelled Hannity (bad as he could be) for that clown Savage.
Who can forget his riveting rant about his inability to properly cook steel-cut oatmeal. . .
Back when Savage was Weiner and working as an herbalist, I went to see him in his office at the recommendation of my doctor. Weiner paid almost no attention to me, as he was talking to his publisher on the phone. I was supposed to be impressed. Incredibly self-important, he didn’t realize that I had published books too, with an even better publisher. I could have given him very good advice, but just got up and left.
I agree. I have no "home team." Talk radio is foremost a business but it is a business about America.
I've been a radio listener since before and all through the "Fairness Doctrine" so I really, really appreciate them all.
I am a fan of both men but that does not keep me from turning off the radio when Savage attacks competitors -- though he hasn't done that lately. Lately it's mostly "everybody in the business and beyond is against me -- but I showed them!"
It seems that everyday Levin is commenting on Savage's show content without mentioning a name. I doubt that he listens personally though.
Both Levin and Savage have unusual and impressive intellectual acuteness and I do not understand the need for each of them to claim that so many ideas and issues originated with them and were stolen. The ideas and issues never would have been thought of otherwise.. that's really boring. A simple Internet search often proves each of them wrong.
It might be that savage is always taking potshots at everyone else.
My favorite Levin line is, “I don’t have a degree in flowers”. Ouch.
I like both. For totally different reasons.
Nobody cried for him when that happened.

Agree 100% that Sean was “wearing thin”.
Savage has IMHO, only one thing going for him and that’s his signature line “Borders, Language, Culture.
Beyond that, he’s got stories about food and a platform to promote his books.
Levin, on the other hand is educational. He knows HIS stuff without any doubts. When Mark ventures into finance or economics, I’m left scratching my head. I recall him ridiculing “Zerohedge/Tyler Durden” regarding one piece (not knowing Tyler Durden is an alter ego), not knowing Zerohedge is a mess of information. Then a number of months later Mark was referencing the good work done by Zerohedge.
Mark Levin, is awesome when he stays within his field of knowledge.
Thought I would bring this thread back....because the “FEUD” is getting hot again..
