How green was my Nazi?
I wish my brother was alive to have a laugh at that, he loved that old movie.

“...there are claims that Hitler was a meth addict...”
I saw something the other day, about Nazis being all on meth during battle.
But, did meth even exist back then? Methamphetamine, that’s the full name, yes? I’m sure they had some good uppers, but did they really have meth?

The amphetamines did - they were invented/discovered in the 1920's. Hitler's physician, Leo Morrell, had him on all sorts of weird concoctions, principally amphetamines toward the end. Dr. Leonard Heston makes a persuasive case for chronic amphetamine addiction in his 1982 The Medical Casebook of Adolf Hitler, whose arguments were shown to none less than Albert Speer, and who ended up writing an introduction to the book.
