Okay, Bloomberg is a big fat socialist RINO. What is Bloomberg Media?

What does it say? It’s pushed pretty hard for a low loonie, low yuan, low freight fuel, high dollar, dollar reserve, etc. But yes, it serves some investors for the time being. Such “news” is riding on a perilous mountain of debt, though (balance of payments deficits in trade, heavy foreign investments in American bonds and the like).

I will find out more soon, I think.

Somehow I can’t believe that silly editorials garner that kind of wealth... but it’s not impossible. It would be part of the pat ourselves on the back society.

At any rate, I find it really interesting that they are even asking C# and Java gurus to take the plunge into C++.

For me as an engineer this says one thing. They want to do smart processing of breaking, real-time news and do it quickly. You can’t put the pedal to the metal with C# and Java. Somehow, this does not sound like a silly editorial business.

That's good attention to likely causes and effects with some obvious experience behind it. I said "rackets," you know, because of the particular groups that would try to oppose the effort (among many similar efforts). Well, those folks should prepare to find more useful work to do.

We can get that stamp for plans in each state, though, and inspectors can only stretch their excuses for denying on some of the gooshier code points. Designs including lower cost materials are being engineered for the various states (more efficient to engineer a design only once and improve from there). For foundations, there will be several alternatives for conditions in various jurisdictions.

Not only that, but there have already been many defectors. I know one state code official and ICC egghead, who moved to a free county (no building office). He likes feeling cleaner. ;-) Many others have already been laid off and are seeing the light. There are also gobs of engineers interested in helping with projects for various kinds of products. They're willing to work with their hands and help to bring in a new world.

Remember the SCO front against Linux and how that came out? That was nada compared to what's ahead.

I'm surprised! C# and java gurus on a C++ project? That's desperation!

Says the same to me. Maybe they're getting smart. Hopefully, the project managers will also be smarter than what we've seen in some of the C++ projects of the past (more concerned with gossip and social interactions than getting work done).
