I’m 60 and I know that living in southern Arizona is a death sentence for my wife and myself when the SHTF. We plan on traveling the next few years and enjoying what time we have left on this earth. Should the SHTF in my lifetime, all I can hope for is to take out as many attackers as I can, but I know there is no realistic expectation of surviving very long.

I am 52 and 70 pounds overweight and I am the one in best shape in my family. My wife is older and has diabetes and her sister is mental handicapped.
I live in the hood and I simply prepare as best I can. Bugging out is NOT a good idea as I have no where to go.
I have prepared more than most but any prolonged attack will be the end.
