You are right about the persecution. Christians can expect regular visits from the local state security apparatus and there isn’t any warrant system. You cannot say no. They cannot proselytize legally and they’re fairly well monitored. My experience with Asian Christians has lead me to believe that many are attracted to the Western prestige of it all. I don’t mean to condemn them all and there are some amazing stories out of N Korea of real Christian martyrs. I believe opposition is very healthy for Christians. When life is too easy, so is Christianity.
Not really.
We are capable of making what we need if Obama and his ilk get the hell outta the way.
This is where Vladimir Putin needs to sit up and pay attention.
The Chinese have never been great on the water, but they have kicked axx on horseback. All of the land east of the Urals is basically wide open.
We’ve exported the majority of our industry and service to mainland China over the last 20 years. And we done so willingly.
It used to be that would start a war. They pulled it off by convincing a lot of people it is a good thing.
At the end of the day, they still have the factories, and we gave it to them.
China has to go on a land grab soon. They have huge numbers of young men, with no chance of a bride.
That often leads to unrest.
They should grab Siberia
Until they successfully copy it and build it and sell it back to us for half the price.
I don't understand where this bee in the bonnet about single men comes from. In truth, throughout most of human history (including today), men of limited resources have remained single, whereas the wealthy have had access to multiple women in licit as well as illicit relationships. In China, polygamy was the rule until the mid-20th century, and poor men pretty much rented or went without. Japan is a real pressure cooker environment, and the suicide rates reflect it. Japan has a huge problem with single men (and women) and it's not as if a latter-day Tojo is gearing up for another Pearl Harbor.
