If Israel is Militarily Defeated by Muslim Militants in 2014, will Obama then be Impeached?

A big “if”, and I don’t think I can accept the premise.

Granting the premise, I think the defeat of Israel (that is, if the nation of Jews is wiped off the map), I don’t believe Obama will be impeached or removed from office.

I think it will trigger a convulsion of this world not seen in centuries...and Obama’s actions will be rendered irrelevant.

God is still reigning over this earth, and He will not be mocked. Not by America, not by Islam, not by any impenitent people. We as a nation ARE impenitent, and are seeing the consequences as our society deteriorates into poverty, immorality, and weakness.

We need a spiritual awakening, and that is what I am praying for God to accomplish.

No. Without hard evidence, impeachment would be an unacceptable bending of the Constitution.

If Israel is lost due to the actions (or inactions) of Obama, it does not then follow that Obama must be a traitor. It could also be reasonably attributed to Obama's laziness or his stupidity.

Impeachment was not meant to remove lazy or stupid presidents. That's the job of the ballot box. And the voters have already spoken on this issue.

Outside of that, if he isn’t at a fundraiser he is sitting there watching reruns of Cosby.

Will Obama be impeached? No.

There exist ample grounds for impeachment at this juncture, but virtually no chance of a successful trial in the Senate.

Perhaps there are other ways to regain control of our Nation - keep your powder dry!

Thanks for y’alls replies.

The scenario that I presented would:

* Double the price of Crude Oil, due to Winter Fuel fear in Europe, World Oil market speculation and extra shipping costs;

* Permanently end the Nation of Israel.

What was interesting to me is that this scenario did not appear to be a significant factor in the Impeachment of an incompetent and very weak Commander in Chief.
