Guess they don't need my patronage.

I think we need to make a distinction between not wanting the open-carry of modern sporting rifles and the banning all firearms, to include concealed carry. If a business wants to ban the open carry of rifles in an urban environment, I can live with that. Where I draw the line is banning all firearms, even concealed. That is when you lose my business.

Sonic is average quality drive in
Chilis has gone to crap since the ex pot smuggler founder sold out to Pillsbury in mid 80s
In the late 70s Chilies chiliburgers and fries at the Austin and Dallas stores were incredible

I've eaten at our local Sonic three times and I've had an upset stomach each time thereafter. I don't go there any more nor do I recommend them to anyone. Chili's has always been over rated and over priced IMHO. Hardee’s is OK, but so far I haven't seen anything negative on their carrying policy.

Whatever Sonic’s stances are, the Tater Tots, the Hamburgers are great. Some of the sandwiches look good to. Now, they have sweet potato tots.
After that, all the sweets, cokes, are probably too sweet for me.
They also have going for them a bit of nostalgia being the drive in and some waitresses (waiters nowadays too) where skates when they deliver the food.
I just rarely go to restaurants, eating out.

"We recognize that the open carry of firearms creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and is not permitted under many local liquor laws," spokeswoman Ashley Johnson said. The headline is deceptive. They asking people to not open-carry in their restaurants, because it scares some of their customers.
If I was a retail owner, I would do the same.
