His last name is permanently engraved in cement outside of the cafeteria on the Punahou campus.
See the fifth picture down: http://obamasneighborhood.com/punahou.html
He was known by the play on words: “Barry O’Bomber” on the basketball team and anyone in Honolulu can drop by the Punahou School and see for themselves, close-up, the names that go with the photos in the yearbooks.

They will doggedly and relentlessly snooping in every crevice investigate her high school records and diploma for any and all discrepancies because the public has the right to know!
HEH HEH HEH
Your link does not support your claim. Sure, she shows pictures of Barry in those yearbooks. Nothing where you can read what name he went under though.
She does show a closeup picture of Stephen Chase, and you can read his name underneath his picture, but she never shows a picture in which you can read "Barry Obama's" name.
Now I believe I recollect seeing his name actually written as Barry Obama in a basketball team picture, and she appears to be showing that same picture, but she never shows anything that demonstrates what name he went under. She simply asserts that it was "Barry Obama."
That being said, I put little credibility in Marie Pope's commentary at this time. Evidence which contradicts one of her claims has been put forth, and therefore they are suspect.
On another topic, of course you are here, once again defending Barry's honor, because this is exactly what a conservative supporter of Palin/Cruz would do.
Now tell me, just what exactly is it that you most admire about former Governor Sarah Palin? What do you most admire about Senator Ted Cruz?
No, she doesn't, but I don't think Nero Germanicus expected anyone to check. Assuming that his claim was that "Barry Obama" was the name Obama used in high-school, then his evidence does not support it.
Now if his claim is that Barry went to Punahou, then his link does indeed support that claim, but I didn't think that assertion was being contested by anyone. As a matter of fact, several commenters asserted that themselves.
If his claim is the former, then his link is a whole lot of nothing, as if someone was just throwing stuff out there to bluff their way through an argument.
Given his exacting attention to detail in quoting us all those court decisions (even the laughably ridiculous ones), it is no doubt an oversight on his part to offer something as evidence which doesn't actually support his point.
He may just remain. Americans are so stupid and ignorant of their political structures that they would say nothing if he stayed in office.
At least you posted something which supported the claim.
Is she still alive? Watch out for cars that run into trees, guns that go off in parks in your left hand when you were a righty, overseas trips an planes packed with 200 passengers.
He’s married to a women?

I have never understood that, either. Usually, when anyone “makes it big” all these people come out of the woodwork, who knew them of old - with all these quaint old stories that one would normally have left in the past. But with Obama there is no credible background story.
But Obama, not Soetoro. Hmmm.
Anyone who thinks that they are advancing conservative principles with easily disproven rumor, innuendo and myth just isn’t very politically astute.
Why would he be called “Barry O’Bomber” on the basketball team if he was using the name “Soetoro?” Why is “King/Obama” engraved in concrete near the Punahou cafeteria?
The only period of his life in which Barack Obama used the surname “Soetoro” was during the four years that he lived in Indonesia with his step-father, Lolo Soetoro, from October, 1967 until June, 1971. From 5th grade through his first two years at Occidental College, he was “Barry Obama.”
You’re wrong. He was Barry Soetoro at Punahou, Occidental College (where he lived in the foreign students housing), and Columbia University.
His name, Barry Soetoro and nationality Indonesian, is why those records are unavailable.
It wasn’t until he moved to Chicago and started in politics that he became a ‘black man’. See:
The stories concerning Russians boasting about having a black communist who will be POTUS now have more credibility.
I didn't say you were wrong. I said the evidence you offered does not demonstrate you to be correct.
For someone so intent on getting the details correct, I'm surprised you missed the point I was making.
In fact, IIRC, the only evidence of the use of the name Soetoro is the Indonesian school record.

Nitpicking just shows the degree of desperation to win a minor debating point.
The editions of the yearbooks that the woman in the YouTube video was obviously putting up for sale can be viewed by others to see if the name “Obama” is listed, and lo and behold, 4Zoltan has already provided that evidence. The name “Obama” appears in the yearbooks not the name “Soetoro.”
When anyone believes that “Barry O’Bomber” was known as “Soetoro” at Punahou School, it helps Obama to continue making fun of the constitutional eligibility movement, it doesn’t damage him. It is certainly possible that Obama’s political operatives float false stories so that they can then discredit them themselves.
It isn't a nit pick. The evidence you presented did not prove your case. You offered a non-sequitur. The fact that others came along and proved your case does not change the fact that YOUR evidence wasn't up to the task.
You left the impression that you weren't really concerned about the evidence, you just wanted people to take your word for it. Sloppy is a best case scenario. A worst case scenario is that you were just trying to wave off the issue by asserting an "expert" (argumentum ad vericundiam, who was not an actual expert. You know, pretty much the same stuff you do every time you cite a modern court.
Beyond that, I still haven't heard you describe what characteristic of Governor Sarah Palin, or Senator Ted Cruz, that you admire. Why are you a Palin supporter as opposed to Jeb Bush? What do you like about Palin more than you like about the latest iteration of the Bush Dynasty?
I think the point has been established. I've already mentioned that I think Maria Pope is some sort of eccentric, and I don't put much stock in her credibility.
