Where would send the signal to? And using what telecommunications systems.

That's just it. The international emergency channel is 121.5 and repeated on 243.0. Some type of transmitter that works on those frequencies but would take more than just aircrew to shut off. If a water landing, then something that could send out sonar pings. It shouldn't be too difficult, and would be cost-effective to implement considering this exact scenario. Where there's a will, there's a way. I'm thinking the airlines, manufacturers, and governments never thought this possible, but here we are. Hundreds of missing people and one very expensive asset gone. Simply gone.

The black box pings under water. Of course, it would tell you nothing because it’s a loop, and you would only get the final two hours.

Flight 370 was abducted by Space Aliens.

I’ve seen the alien craft ... very strange structure. It’s a saucer-shaped thing, mounted on a pillar above a large cylindrical part. There are two other cylindrical parts, smaller, also mounted on pillars slightly higher than the saucer shape.

Highly unusual, even for UFOs ...

That’s such an absurd statement I almost don’t have a reply.

But I do: Occam’s Razor predicts the simplest explanation. That has not materialized...certainly not all the “obvious” explanations offered by the press and “experts”.

Occam’s Razor does not predict the “correct” explanation in light of all facts, that’s call “duh of course” but not necessarily the simplest.

I posited no explanation. I said there are two leading probabilities. Read the article before you comment.

Yes, and they are called “ELTs” - Emergency Locator Transmitters. They only work if the plane crashes or if they are manually activated.

The ACARS transmitter is not supposed to be turned off either. There’s no “find my plane” app that works over the Indian Ocean at night with no cell, WiFi or radar coverage, and certainly nothing that works at the bottom of that ocean.

I believe Iran has orchestrated this nearly from the beginning. It was about getting fresh technicians who can become slaves in the goals of defeating Israel and US assets.
Iran may have just basically paid the pilot to steal the aircraft.

It’s called cut & paste from my blog at thanks-project.com. Sorry the HTML might be broken...I’ll have to switch to hand-coding my HTML from now on, and writing my own style sheets and stuff. Thanks for the heads-up.

The ACARS SYSTEM was apparently turned off. The TRANSMITTER was not, that is what was conducting a handshake protocol with the satellite. There is no OR with the loss of an aircraft.

I like to write. I write about things I know about or care about. Whether those things are relevant to you, or the public at large, or the readers at FR, that’s up to you, the public, and the FR readers to determine.

Everyone starts writing sometime. Ten days ago or ten years ago, what’s the difference?

As for an “industry” - I don’t get paid to blog. I’d love to get paid for it, but that’s not my goal right now.

If you object to my writing, try to be specific about it. If you object to the fact that a ten-day newbie gets some interest on an article, I can’t help you. I’ll try to write less interesting and relevant things to please you if I can.

Ok, fingers were crossed on that last remark, crossies: doesn’t count.
