May he’ll die. Nothing personal, of course ... we all do eventually.
Just got off the phone with DP’s stepmother. His father has moved to rehab, after about six weeks in the hospital. She asks for everyone to pray that he’ll be cooperative in his physical therapy, and especially that he’ll eat.
He had part of a lung removed in January.
I will add DP and his family to my Prayer List. I will ask that he has a desire to eat. Specifics are important!
I told Josephine that maybe the physical therapy will make him hungry. He’s just been lying in bed for several weeks.
Sometimes, depression overwhelms and one loses the desire for any sustenance. Being moved, being in PT and knowing someone cares could make all the difference in the world!
Here’s hoping!
She says he’s somewhat befuddled. However, the fact that he can still read is encouraging. If he’s in a consistent environment for a while, he should get reoriented.
My father lost his ability to read a couple of years ago. For a while before that, he couldn’t read novels, because on Wednesday he couldn’t remember what he’d read on Tuesday, but he could read magazine articles or short pieces. I got him Oliver North’s “War Stories” books, because those were in vignettes of 5 or 6 pages, and even if they were sequential, each piece was understandable as an independent anecdote.
That’s encouraging! Hopefully, he will respond to the new environment and show some improvement.
I think one of the worst things ever would be not being able to read. I have trouble with attention span, and often, if there are a lot of political twists and turns, I lose interest because it doesn’t make sense to me. I try to find “simple” books, or those with lots of action or a fast-moving plot. Otherwise, I’m likely to put it down and not pick it up again.
And with that, I’m taking my silly self to bed. The barometer is dropping and I’m not a happy camper. I’ll see you tomorrow!
:o])
I hope you’re better tomorrow!
” he is in possession of a Mustache.”
Detective Flannery is WEAPONSTACHE.
*tagline for 70’s style b movie detective show.
His mustache stops crime dead!
Prayers Said T-c. Prayers Said Face on your matter also.
Happens I have at least four books by Clive Cussler in my store of books donated to me.
Pacific Vortex!
The Mediterranean Caper
Deep Six
Treasure
I don't expect to be reading them soon, being more into writing than reading, so I'm willing to part with them if it isn't too much trouble.
Are they on anyone's list of must-haves?
Absolutely spot on there, Darks.
As the blue lights come up behind you, all you see through the windshield is a mustache.
Remember that a Copper is only employed to escort the mustache around.
Detective Flannery is the transport device for Weaponstache.
Oh he stops crime dead alright. ...Lol
When the current series of TopGear lands ,all will become clear. :D
“His world descended into pain and madness. All he could see..was the MUSTACHE that was beating him!”
The weaponstache transport officer has one hand in his pocket, coffee in the other, completely oblivious to what his mustache is doing to the guy who tried to rob the convenience store.
” When the current series of TopGear lands ,all will become clear. :D”
I sure hope I haven’t inspired madness.
Jeremy and the guys do come pretty close to injury quite often.
This current offering is I believe the best yet.

Bully requests a long list ping at above thread.
I’m on mobile debice without my pinglist at the moment.
Darn it “nully”.
Stupid autocowrecked.
Darks you are talking about a software program and not a vehicle ... Correct? Post one and tell me you are okay. Anyone else following this?
Yes.
Autocorrect likes to “fix” your touch screen debice typing to what it believes you mean.
Can’t tell you how often the autocowrecker has destroyed what I was typing.
