Am sorry to hear is that terrible. Suspected but your first hand report confirms. May the soggy and the boggy go the way of the river moose.

I saw a sign yesterday on a vehicle that read,
*Caution, Bald Parakeets In Transit* ... which reminds me I must transit too. Have a great evening everyone!

Our first drop-in was eating King Crab shells out of a kitchen garbage bag. Shadow will not touch King Crab shells since.
Maybe she would have liked stale crackers better. Hmmmmm.

Visitors love the place, for its History and architecture.
Come and have a look... (tourist board bit done.)
The water will drain away when it has finished and gets bored with just hanging around. :)

My bobcat domestic mix was captured by offering the little furball a piece of chicken.
Mimi did love her chicken.
And honey ham, and cheese, and roast beef..

Oh, good for YOU! I know you needed a nap, for sure. Kids have a tendency to wear folks out. I don’t have to worry about anything when it comes to naps except if they are late in the day. (Though when I was VERY anemic, I could sleep 3-4 hours during the day and still sleep the night.)
I’ve been working on an afghan for the newest GGbaby, but I suspect I won’t see this one any sooner than I will see the last one. She is 10 months old, now, and I have yet to hold her. There is something wrong with that...especially since they are less than 10 miles away.

“Release the YETI!” the chilling shout went up, the crowds in the town centre suddenly stopped to look around at the source of the horrible pounding noises.
From several large dented shipping containers boiled forth a wave of white furred abomination!
The Yeti howled, growled, pounded the ground, and generally made a mess everywhere as they stomped around the unfamiliar terrain of the town centre.

I’ve been really worn out the last few days. Maybe tomorrow will turn out better! I have to teach a class tonight - a rerun of the class I taught last week, for those who weren’t there, sigh - and won’t be home until nearly 9:00.
Last night I came in from Scouts to find that Kathleen had removed her pajamas and diaper and piddled on the sofa while DP was in the other room! I’ll make sure Tom pays close attention to her tonight.

With four main streets radiating out from the centre, Yeti will have hours of fun.
‘Night All, the rotation of the planet has conspired against us, again. :)
