I think the pioneers must had their sons camping out, unless the snow was hip-deep. They had families of 20 living in houses the size of my dining room. Unless they racked ‘em up like POWs, they must have been sleeping out most of the time. (My boys would love that.)

I think I’ll move from here straight to “Independent Living,” like my mom’s building in The Villages.

If I had a choice, I would be in my own place on a small plot of land. Were I independently wealthy, I could get such a place for $1700 and the rest in payments. (I just need the down and the closing costs...Henderson has such a good program for low-income folks...they even are eligible for $35,000 improvement loans, which don’t have to be paid back until you move out.)

BUT...I don’t, so I can’t and I won’t. I will, instead, make do with what I have.

:o]

"It was nice of you to offer!"

I didn't offer. I was just bragging.

I’d worry about you if you were on your own plot of land. Always so much work to be done. Of course, I worry about you where you are! Your health is ... less than robust!

Don’t worry about me. I know...easy for me to say...if I had my own plot of land, I would also have “life-lines” to make sure that plot and me were well taken care of.

I’m here because of the climate, but for no other reason. Circumstances have dictated that for now, I am in public housing. Had I a choice, I would be on my own plot of land close to people who love me and care about me. That could be an offspring or someone in my extended family.

At this point, no one that I know wants to be saddled with me. So I say....who has an accurate picture of me? Those who have known me online for 13 years, or those who have known me in person, periodically, for 30 years...I dunno...looks like a job for Superman, to me...

I don't know. I just know what I know, from what I know about. Who knows what others know?

LOL!

I know you are a very. smart. lady. and that I am very proud to be counted as one of your friends.

The time I spend in the Tax-chick Coop are golden days, worthy of description. And I thank you for all you do to spoil me when I am there!

For others, the relatives, of course, I’m just a relative, and there are “others” who can take care of me because they are more closely related. And that’s how it goes.

And I’m off for tonight. I want to sleep, but the pain is a little sharp, so I will see what morning has in store...all I can say is: OUCH!

A somewhat “sinister” hint about a character.

Look at me still talking when there’s science to do
When I look up there it makes me glad I’m not you
I’ve experiments to run, there is research to be done
On the people who are still alive

*Just heard it from Tom today. He was playing famous video game songs for Kathleen. She was bored with the Elk Sounds.

Kathleen is going to be a different kind of little girl. If all goes well, Tom will go off to college in August and subsequently be resident only periodically ... but it may be too late already. Anoreth had Pat totally nuts by the time he was 4.

Is it wrong that I can easily imagine the “angry murder bunnies” from my terrible story running rampant to this tune?

It makes perfect sense. This is the kind of music Pat likes. When we were going to the Food Lion and A-Plus Vacuums this morning, I turned on the Mexican music station, and Pat said, “What genre of music is this?”

“Norteno Conjunto, a Mexican style with influences of Mariachi and German oompah band.”

“Oh, this is not my favorite genre, which is Dubstep. Can we listen to Dubstep?”

“No, I like the accordion on this song!”

LOL, well.
Half-life’s soundtrack was “different” for the time.

Tracks 1, 8, 12, and 16 being used in samples elsewhere.

Portal soundtrack, just because.

You’ll note that they recycled some HL1 songs for HL2.
