Is Piper the Furnado actually watching TV?
Think of all the kids who have reached what they think is adulthood, and never needed a band-aid for their battles.
Prior to that, there is the system “civil war” due to the Planetary Council getting, er, truncated.
It’s not so much a war in some spots as it is a bit of a “rugby match”.
A number of wars precede my story setting. In some of them, humans were on only one side.
Yes.
Wonder where the rabbitoids fit in after their raid on Ceres station.
She likes cars.
Other than on Earth, there’s a lot of experimentation going on in genetics. What’s happening on Earth is not driven by logical intentions. If humans are evolving, on Earth, they’re doing in it random directions.
So when Top Gear comes on, she gives the TV a wuffle and snort over?
Awww....
I’m not going to make it to the treadmill test. I will reschedule it as soon as I’m sure the phone is on at the facility. I was up most of the night, again, and just couldn’t see dragging myself to a test I really didn’t want to undergo in the first place. I can reschedule it once more before I need to get another referral.
They drew more blood out of me than I wanted them to ~~ I was VERY cold again last night, so I knew a stress test was going to give false information.
All I have to do now is clean up the joint a little and take naps at appropriate times. ;o]
Interesting.
Just lies in the sun and stares at it.
It sounds like you’ve made the right choice. I thought you’d lost a lot of blood!
NicknamedBob ~ Heinlein says a name that ends in A signifies a large-breasted woman.
In this case, he's wrong.
Wrong in this case as well...
Good point.
It makes me sad.
I’ve lost almost half the volume of blood I’m supposed to have. They probably should have given me four units, but they gave me only two, and though my general over all feeling is better, I KNOW I’m not out of the woods.
When I reschedule the test, I will make sure it’s far enough in advance that something can be done with the blood in the meanwhile. I’m used to feeling tired, but the other things that go along with blood loss are not fun. The worst, I think, are the palpitations. They just never seemed to quit, and the feeling of being too cold to ever warm up again. I can do without both those.
Today can be better spent in picking up a few things and getting ready for the inspection tomorrow. *Unngh* I will go to the post orifice in a while and drop off your package. They must be really paranoid, here, these days. It used to be the parcel bin was open in the lobby/box area all the time. Yesterday, it was locked. I went to drop it in the box outside, and the slot was only large enough for a fat envelope. So this will go out in today’s mail.
Don’t make a special trip with the package. It’s looking like we won’t go after all, unless Bill’s not working. Elen said one of her friends could babysit, but it turns out she can’t. Anyway, it’s going to be freezing, so once again I’d have to keep my coat on the whole time, unless I wear something heavy to start with.
And I have to go to Walmart again.
