Update: I would like to thank everyone for their earnest prayers and thoughtful suggestions. We have found a place while, not ideal, keeps us warm, dry, and safe for the winter.
Freepers have offered us financial assistance and even a place to stay. I am blown away by the kindness of complete strangers. I am convinced the prayers of Freepers led us to our new home. Thank you all!!
