The middle one is the best of the three. I think I already have Fred the Insane there washing dishes. Post #106.

There is only one solution for it...give them up. Are you allergic to both of them, or just the new one?

Since they are both in the same cage, it’s hard to tell, but knowing CFIDS and the propensity for allergies to develop in anyone who has lived in Las Vegas for three years or more, I would say both.
It’s no doubt the dander and the droppings, and there isn’t much I can do about either.

True, but it provides some hope you can keep one.

I fall asleep if I take antihistamines. And the only one I can take is benedryl. I reserve that for bedtime, to help me sleep.
Unfortunately, since it’s impossible to isolate the “offending” bird, it will be better for them to not separate them, but see that they go somewhere together.
Not looking forward to THAT, though!

This is horrible. I wonder if there are any naturally-occurring plants you can use to mitigate the effects. I have no experience with homeopathy. Have you ever tried that?

I have about a dozen books on homeopathy, and if it weren’t for that, I would be a lot sicker than I am, because of the side-effects of man-made medicines.
My life is a series of checks and balances, and which battles I choose to fight will depend on what is the most important to me.
If I want to go to dinner with someone, I need to remember it will take me three days or more to recover, and I can almost guarantee I won’t sleep more than two hours that night. If I run errands in the morning, it has to be early, because by 11:00, I run out of stamina.
If I push myself to do something I know I have to bypass, I can, and will have a relapse. It has taken me over 20 years to get it all worked out and I’m still making adjustments.
My immune system is “up-regulated” and everything is out of kilter...
It ain’t easy being green!
